Production

How long will it take for my item to be made?

Every product is made to order. Your creation will be made as quickly as possible. Usual production time will range from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. However, production time will also depend on current order volume. We aim to exceed your expectations by managing timelines carefully. What materials do you use?

Shadow Boxes: Baltic Birch, Custom Wood Stain, Cast Acrylic (on some)

Signs: Pine, Baltic Birch, Custom Wood Stain

Can I hang signs outside?

At this time, we do not seal our signs. Therefore, we do not recommend hanging signs outside exposed to the elements. We do plan on providing this at a later date.

Can I customize a product?

Yes, we are all about customizing products! We are more than happy to resize, change a design, or assist you in making your own custom creation.

Do you provide a proof prior to shipping?

Yes, we do provide a digital proof for any custom orders.

Why does my engraving look lighter or darker than on your website?

Since we are using natural wood as our main medium, wood grains and wood species burn differently. Not all pieces of wood are the same. Therefore, each creation is unique.

Why does the stain color on my product look different than on your website?

We make custom wood stains for each creation. We try our best to keep the colors the same as much as possible, but they may vary slightly. Different wood grains absorb the stains differently, making each creation one of a kind.

Shipping

What is your shipping policy?

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Each item is securely packaged, and insurance is included. Please let us know if you have any issues. Once your order ships, a tracking number will be emailed to you.

How are your products shipped?

All of our products are shipped through either UPS or FedEx. You will have the option to select these at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

Do you offer local pick up?

Yes! We do offer free local pick up at Urban Cottage in Duck, NC.

Returns

Do you accept returns, refunds or exchanges?

We do not accept returns, refunds or exchanges. The only exception to this is if an item is damaged. In the case of damage, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery to report an issue.

We are happy to offer replacements if we have made an error in production. Please double check your information to ensure accuracy before submitting your order.
